Dresser Wayne Announces Appointment of Giuseppe D’Arrigo as General Manager, Italy

Former Shell Executive Brings Extensive Experience in Product Marketing and Sales to New Role.

HIGH WYCOMBE, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (May 17, 2011)—Dresser Wayne, a global innovator of fuel dispensers and technologies, has announced the appointment of Giuseppe D’Arrigo as general manager, Italy. Mr. D’Arrigo joined the company on April 4.

Mr. D’Arrigo previously worked at Shell Italia S.p.A, where he held a number of product and sales, operational, strategy and senior management roles, starting in 1996. His most recent accomplishments included implementing strategic operational and organizational changes, developing joint ventures and alliances and enhancing customer relationships.

In his new role as GM of Dresser Italia S.r.l., Mr. D’Arrigo is accountable for the delivery of Dresser Wayne Italian operating results and manufacturing targets in a country with major opportunities for customer development and growth in revenue and bottom‐line profitability, with a focus on selective investments and improvement of processes and operations.

“Dresser Wayne always has had a strong presence in and commitment to Italy, and as our business continues to grow, we need strong local leadership to help ensure that our customers are poised for success,” said Damian Tracey, president of Dresser Wayne EMEA.

“Giuseppe brings extensive industry experience, product and commercial understanding to our company,” Tracey added, citing Mr. D’Arrigo’s previous experience as general manager and executive director of Shell’s retail business in Italy.

“The industry is changing fast, with a growing number of independent fuel retailers who need not just a dispenser, but a valuable solution for improved reliability and throughput,” said D’Arrigo.

Prior to joining Shell, Mr. D’Arrigo worked at Johnson Wax. He earned his International Law and Politics degree from the Università degli Studi of Milan and University of Warwick.
