Dresser Wayne’s Scott Negley and Tim Weston to Discuss Alternative Energy and Payment Technologies at NACStech
Austin, Texas, USA (May 11, 2011)—Dresser Wayne, a global innovator of fuel dispensers and technologies, announced that two of its subject‐matter experts, Scott Negley, director of alternative energy products and Tim Weston, payment technologies product manager, will lead and participate in panel discussions during the NACStech event in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 16 ‐18.
Negley will be leading the panel on “Servicing the Electric Vehicle Customer,” which will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 10:15 a.m. As the moderator and organizer of the session, Negley along with three other speakers, including David Wang, regional sales leader of electric vehicle (EV) supply equipment at GE Industrial Solutions, will talk about how fuel retailers can accommodate a growing electric‐vehicle customer base. In addition to learning about emerging technologies and the differences among EV charger levels, attendees will hear about businesses other than convenience stores that could become competitors in the electric‐car charger arena.
On Monday, Weston will be speaking about fuel‐dispenser payment security at the 1:30 p.m. Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) session titled, “Protecting Your Automated Fuel Dispenser.” With his extensive background in fuel‐dispenser payment systems and data security, Weston will help retailers learn to identify dispenser payment‐system tampering. He also will share ideas on preventing credit and debit card information theft that occurs through various data skimming techniques.
