At Autocomplex 2007, Dresser Wayne® Unveils Future Fueling Technologies And Green Solutions For Russian Market
MALMÖ, SWEDEN (October 10, 2007) – The Russian fueling industry had a chance to preview innovative solutions on the horizon from Dresser Wayne at the Autocomplex 2007 trade show in Moscow last week. During the show, which took place October 3rd through 5th, Dresser Wayne presented forward-looking technologies and advances in environmentally-conscious fueling that the company has developed to address the future of Russia’s fuel market.
“The coming years are going to herald many changes for retail fuel providers including a greater demand for alternative fuels as well as more sophisticated marketing requirements,” says Tony Short Director EMEA Distributor Sales. “Dresser Wayne is proactively creating answers to tomorrow’s challenges so we can help our customers smoothly transition through these changes.”
Among the upcoming solutions that Dresser Wayne shared with show attendees were new marketing tools that increase in-store sales from the forecourt. Customers had an opportunity to experience the Global Ovation® iX dispenser featuring Dresser Wayne’s award-winning iX™ Technology Platform. “Increasing profit margins through in-store sales is a key competitive edge for our customers,” Tony Short explains. “Dispensers need to support marketing efforts in addition to dispensing petrol.” The iX Technology Platform offers expanded dispenser functionality, including iX Media, a customizable multimedia in-dispenser promotional tool. Also on display was C-Store Media, a complimentary technology to iX Media, which ties in-store promotional efforts to forecourt merchandising.
Dresser Wayne also featured its Global Star™ dispenser with the Xflo™ meter, a highly accurate fuel meter with a precision-engineered design that virtually eliminates meter drift and minimizes recalibration costs. And the Global Star CNG dispenser provided visitors with an insight into the ways in which Dresser Wayne is accommodating the quickly-growing alternative fuels arena.
In addition to showcasing future products, Dresser Wayne’s current offerings were displayed at distributors’ booths. Tony Short states, “Autocomplex 2007 was the ideal forum to share what we are working on and facilitate open discussion with our customers about how together we can best meet the rigorous demands of Russia’s evolving business landscape.”
